Fellows

The Harvard Tech Review Fellows represent a series of academics, industry leaders, and innovators in the tech industry. Through interactive events and programming, the Tech Review Fellows engage with the undergraduate Harvard audience on a wide range of different issues in technology.

Latanya Sweeney

Latanya Sweeney is a Professor of Government and Technology in Residence at Harvard University, whose mission is create and use technology to assess and solve societal, political and governance problems. One of Sweeney’s focus areas is the scientific study of technology’s impact on humankind as the Editor-in-Chief of Technology Science. Another focus area for Sweeney is data privacy, serving as the Director of the Data Privacy Lab at Harvard.

William Powers

William Powers is a writer now working as a technologist at the MIT Media Lab. A former Washington Post staff writer, he is the author of the New York Times bestseller, Hamlet’s BlackBerry: Building a Good Life in the Digital Age, which offers constructive philosophical solutions to some of the human downsides of the digital age.

Advisors

The Harvard Tech Review Advisors are a series of Harvard-affiliated professors who advise the Tech Review on a more organizational basis, and inform the community of Harvard-specific ventures related to technology.

Greg Epstein

Greg Epstein is an expert of humanism, religion and ethics, and a prominent leader in the national movement to build positive, inclusive and inspiring humanist communities. He currently serves as the Humanist Chaplain at Harvard University, is the Executive Director of the Humanist Hub at Harvard and MIT, and works to lead and facilitate humanist, interfaith and educational programs at Harvard and throughout the country.
